The Costa Rican Chorreador is our traditional method for brewing coffee. Chorrear means “to pour”
This pour-over method simply requires scooping finely ground coffee into the cloth filter and slowing pouring hot water over the grounds. Perfect for 1 cup of coffee.
The chorreador is conveniently foldable and hand-painted with hummingbirds, quetzals and other wildlife from Monteverde’s forest (let us know in your order notes if you have a preference).
It is made by Vinicio Corrales local artist from Costa Rica.
